Paris, France

Paris, France's capital, is a major European city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. Its picturesque 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide boulevards and the River Seine. The city is known for its cafe culture, and designer boutiques along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and has the reputation of being the most beautiful and romantic city. Dubbed the City of Light (la Ville Lumière) and Capital of Fashion, it is home to the world's finest and most luxurious brands. You won't want to miss the iconic landmarks including: the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, Moulin Rouge, and Lido, which make Paris the most popular tourist destination in the world with 45 million tourists annually.

There's no place like Paris , if you made a list of places you want to visit you should definitely put Paris on that list . Paris it's not only about romance , it's about everything...art , culture , music , food , architecture and many other things . I've been there 2 times now and i still wanna go at least one more time because there's something special (even magical i could say) about Paris

Paris is one of my favourite cities in the world where you can enjoy pain chocolat, a croissant, and cafe Au lait at a cafe in the morning, cruise along la Seine in the afternoon, or stroll through one of it's many tourist areas like the Champs d'elysee. Be sure to bring a rain cost or umbrella along if you are there in the Spring!

If you're in the city or love, art and culture, and want to visit unusual museums, then skip the clichés like the Louvre and head straight to the Pompidou! I went about 4 times while I lived in Paris and everytime was a different experience. It is filled with modern art that you will not see anywhere else in the world!

One of the coolest bars I discovered by accident while living in Paris, L'Urgence. It is located in 45 Rue Monsieur le Prince and its decoration will amaze you. There, you will drink out of baby bottles and the drinks have cool names like "Viagra", "Insemination Artificielle", "Liposuction" and so on. What are you waiting for?!

Steeped in history and home to high fashion and haute cuisine, Paris is undoubtedly one of the best cities in the world to visit. Little wonder then, that it also plays host to some of Europe’s most memorable bars and cafés. From secret speakeasies to lavish hotel lounges, the City of Light has a little something for everyone. Visit Hotel le Bristol for afternoon tea or a drink in the bar. You can enjoy sitting outside in the beautiful "à la française" garden in spring/summer, an oasis of peace in the city or admire the amazing Christmas tree in The winter. Located on the upscale Rue Du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Hotel Le Bristol is the place to see & be seen! The highlight being the two beautiful Burmese cats (Kléopatre & Fa-roan) who roam freely around the hotel.

When you are visiting Eiffel Tour, The Louver museum, and Notre-Dame cathedral; get an online package or book with an agency before hand. Otherwise you are going to be stuck in queues for hours in each attraction.

On the Monday after Easter, Walking around the Tour Eiffel or Eiffel to was fun. Never dull, the on and off Spring rain showers made me appreciate the fact that I brought a rain coat. The outdoor market along La Seine or The Seine River had lovely souvenirs and a big selection of food options. The crêpes, paella, pralines, & tartiflette were all delicious!

Paris Travel Update: We are devastated by the recent events in Paris and our deepest sympathies go to those that have been affected. This has caused France to tighten its borders and declare a state of emergency. If you are planning to travel to France in the coming days please check with your booking agency to see if changes have been made.
